Are you mining cryptocurrencies and wondering if and how it can be done conveniently from your smartphone? You’ll be surprised how easy it is and doesn’t take too much time. Cryptocurrency mining is one way to make money online.
What are cryptocurrencies
Cryptocurrencies are a big hit these days, and if you haven’t heard of them, we’re going to introduce them to you. It is a virtual currency (it doesn’t have a physical form – coins and notes) that you get in a certain program either by mining it or buying it in a virtual wallet. You can only pay with this currency in certain stores that allow cryptocurrency payments (e.g. Alza). Some users claim that this is the currency of the future, which cannot be denied.
None of us know how the cryptocurrency market will evolve. The market is run by the users themselves, the so-called miners, who are paid for their services. You too can become a miner – all you need is a program. Classically, this is done on a computer, but it can also be done on a smartphone.

How mobile cryptocurrency mining works?
Classic crypto mining requires special software and a large amount of energy, which a phone cannot handle. That’s why apps have been created that allow cryptocurrency mining without such a power requirement. There are two ways:
Mobile Miner
This software was designed by developers to be as similar as possible to the classic, computer-based one. It works like a classic mining, therefore it works offline and you don’t have to do anything to get the cryptocurrency. In order to have such an app on your phone, you need to have a 64-bit processor – for example, the HUAWEI p smart 2021, which also promises long endurance even with high performance.
Since Mobile Miner is not available in Google Play or the App Store, installation using Xcode is required. Unless you are at least a novice programmer, installation can be very challenging for you.
The app runs in the background all day long, which in practice means that it consumes a lot of battery and wears out the processor, making your phone unusable in no time as it will start to overheat and battery life will decrease rapidly. So you can expect to replace your phone again soon. Another disadvantage is the low price of earning (about 15 USD per month). So think carefully about whether it is worth it for you.
Applications in the form of games
Other apps work a little differently, and you don’t have to worry about your phone when using them because they’re not power-hungry. How much you earn is up to you, but don’t expect too much.
You can earn cryptocurrency by playing games, watching videos or even confirming that you’re not a robot. All you have to do is find an app in the app stores under “bitcoin free” that has a decent rating and is therefore trustworthy. Examples of such apps include Storm Play, Bitcoin Billionaire or Free Bitcoin. Each app differs slightly not only in the tasks you have to complete to earn some money, but also in the limit it will cash out. With some you’ll accumulate the required amount in 10 days, with others in a shorter or longer period of time, depending on your activity.
To encourage a higher chance of earning, install more apps to keep you busy – you’ll earn more. Just beware of scam programs that will only waste your time. If you don’t require large amounts of money and want to make some extra money without an initial investment, this might be the right form for you.
Browser mining
The last possible way to earn cryptocurrency on your phone is to install an add-on to your browser. One such add-on is CryptoTab, which works basically the same as a classic browser, only it earns you something. However, it has some drawbacks – it uses the processor and wears it out, plus you won’t get very high earnings. Plus, because it’s a phone, when you turn off the browser, you turn off mining – you need to keep the browser open as much as possible to get a higher reward. So this is not a completely profitable method.
Cryptocurrency mining on mobile can be an easy way to make some extra money, but keep in mind that you can only really mine cryptocurrency the classic way, not on mobile. If you’re serious about crypto, you’re better off using a computer.
